Galaxy S8: How to speed up animations

If you feel like the Galaxy S8 is slow, one of the things you can do is speed up animations. It's very easy to do.
  1. Go to Settings > About phone
  2. Find Build number and tap it 7 times in quick succession
  3. A notification will tell you when Developer options have been unlocked
  4. Now, go back to Settings > Developer options
  5. Scroll down to Window animation scale, Transition animation scale, and Animator duration scale
  6. Adjust them all 0.5x or off

Quick question, so I enabled developer options and I noticed something called "demo mode" I was wondering if enabling this would allow me to see that beautiful blue whale demo video that the phone has in store? I've read horror stories about enabling this and not being able to come back from it resulting in the dreaded factory data reset. Just wondering what you could tell me about this?

Showroom version phones have special demonstration firmware and content loaded. So you won't find that "demo video" in consumer version S8s.
