Galaxy S8: How to use Dual Audio (Bluetooth 5.0)

The Galaxy S8 has Bluetooth 5.0. Most devices are still on 4.0. One of the benefits of 5.0 is the ability to connect to multiple speakers. Here's how to do it.
  1. Go to Settings > Connections
  2. Make sure Bluetooth is turn on
  3. Tap the three-dot menu icon
  4. Select Dual Audio
  5. Toggle it on
Now all you do is pair devices normally. Instead of being limited to one speaker, you can connect more.

Wrong about being wrong

Current Bluetooth Audio profiles use Bluetooth classic (BR/EDR) for streaming (A2DP).
Bluetooth 5.0 main improvements are related to Bluetooth Low Energy which is not involved in the Audio Streaming.
Bluetooth protocol, from the origin, gives the ability to connect to multiple devices.
You can have dual audio with Bluetooth 4.0 or Bluetooth 3.0.

However if you had read the original article, youd be aware that this was about the implementation of dual audio, on this device using Bluetooth 5.0

9.0 The Significance of Bluetooth 5
Bluetooth 5 represents another step change in
Bluetooth technology.
Whole-home and building coverage is provided for
with the new, long-range LE Coded PHY. The higher
symbol rate of LE 2M improves spectral efficiency and
supports emerging use cases in, for example, sports and
fitness and medical equipment. Bluetooth’s advertising
extensions feature will pave the way for next-generation
beacons, advanced audio applications and more. New
industrial applications will become possible and some
smart city applications too.
Bluetooth 5 will have a substantial impact in many
sectors and further position it as the low power wireless
technology of choice for the Internet of Things.

But thanks for being so inpsired by the article that you registered an account just to comment on a post from 2017...

I did not take care of the post date, is there a policy for the first post?
Don't want to troll, is I just noted that the affirmation was technicaly wrong and confusing, though I agree that my first post was a bit sharp.
I don't understand your response so I assume I'm not at the right place.

No worries... when ambiguity meets ambiguity there's always confusion.... hence the mention of the context of the original post,

still, the welcome to the forums was genuine.... It just seemed odd that you stumbled across an old post whilst browsing the site.....

were you looking for something in particular, is Bluetooth a specialized subject of yours? where did you're quote originate?

I was not browsing this forum in particular but was performing some researches on this topic, and beeing accurate on a technical forum is important.
For sure yhis is more an adjustement than a blame, I know the original post is not intented to explain the underlying mechanism of BT dual audio.
All I write except between double-quote orginate from me ;-), thanks!
