The Incipio Octane Pure case features a "co-molded" design. There's basically two materials used on the device, a clear polycarbonate back, and TPU bumper (rim) that surrounds the device. This allows your phone's natural color to shine through, while providing a splash of color around the frame.
There's enough protection that your phone is protected against drops from about 6-feet, but without all the bulk you find on other cases.
