Galaxy S8 Plus: How to enable full screen apps

The Galaxy S8+ has a tall 18:9 display. By default, most apps take advantage of the full screen. However, some leave empty space at the top. You can make all apps use the full screen.

1. Go to Settings > Display
2. Select Full screen apps
3. Toggle the apps you want to be fullscreen

Yes, but there is a button that pops up that allows you to make the video take up the entire display. Then you're cutting off part of the video instead.
