Galaxy S8 Plus: How to use the fingerprint scanner

The fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy S8+ isn't in a great spot, but you still may want to use it.
  • Go to Settings > Lock screen and security
  • Select Fingerprint scanner
  • Tap Add fingerprint
  • Follow the instructions until 100% of your fingerprint has been scanned
  • Tap DONE
  • Toggle on Fingerprint unlock
You can add up to five different fingerprints to your device.
