Speck's Presidio case is essentially the more minimal version of their Presidio Grip case. That's to say the case features only the hard outer shell, minus the rubber ridges of the Grip. This makes it slightly more slippery, but there's plenty of protection the case offers.
The inner frame of the case has a ribbed pattern to help dampen the impact of a drop. It's incredibly heavy duty, without providing too much bulk. Although a little bit on the pricey side, Speck has a great reputation when it comes to mobile device protection. Link provided below for those interesting in buying.
