Galaxy S8 Recording Time Display

I have an S8 on Oreo. When recording there are two times on display. One is the actual recording time, but there is another to the left of this which appears to be going down. What is this time representing please? It doesn't appear to reduce by the same value as the recording time. Thanks

Without a screenshot to go off of, I would guess it's how much time total you have left to record before you run out of space.
