Galaxy SII camera shutter speed

Blibby

Lurker
I have ICS and have experimented with different settings but it does not take the photo in under 4secs. Its really poor for a phone like this. My mates iPhone 4s is pretty much instant. Is there anyway I can improve it to compete with iOS?

Cheers

maybe your ram is full something? idk.. mine's pretty fast. do you know how to modify that? any background about android things like flashing?

Most likely its a bad card. Impossible that it takes you more than 4 secs normal. I have a single core phone with half your RAM and I can take pictures in less than 2 secs after i click the shutter. Its the processing part that's taking so long in your case.

Firmware version? My friend have serious problem with camera on SGII and old firmware -it freezes a lot ... check for FW upgrade
