Help Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 - Apps Close Unexpectedly

Greetings,

I purchased a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for my wife for her birthday last Winter. She really likes it but says she has this problem where apps close by themselves, unexpectedly. She uses Firefox the most and sees this issue somewhat regularly. The unit was refurbished and I'm wondering if this could be a hardware (maybe touchscreen) issue or if there could be a software fix. She says it's happened without touching the screen but just shifting positions of the tablet.

I have a Tab (1) 10.1 (also refurbished) and have never had this problem.

My original Tab 10.1 started shutting down apps suddenly. One of the members of this forum suggested I try a different launcher and that solved the problem. I used GO Launcher and really liked it. It was better than the native launcher. You can get it on the Play Store. Maybe that will help. My problem was caused by defective Touchwiz.
