Help Galaxy tab 3 8.0 backlight dead?

Dear all,

The backlight from my galaxy tab3 8.0 wont work anymore. With direct sun light and a clean display you can see my wallpaper. Touch screen, sound and buttons are working. The backlight lit up for some 20mins but went dead again (while playing fifa14). I try to switch it off and on again; restart it in save mode, but nothing worked up to now.

Anyone some clues??

Have you powered down by holding the power down until the Popup asking to power down appears and touching OK or the power down option? I don't know which the Tab 3 8.0 has. Once powered down you have to hold the power button down until the Tab shakes or the Restart sequence begins. That will take a couple of seconds.

I hold down the power button. When it powers down it did not shake. After restart still no backlight. Thanks anyway
