I purchased a Samsung HDMI adapter for my Galaxy Tab 4 so I could connect to my Philips television ( not a smart tv.) When I connected I got a message that the output format was not compatible with my tv, and I should Galaxy S4 phone and it worked perfectly. Can someone tell me what settings might need to be changed and what they should be changed to? I also tried to connect to Sony Bravia tv (older moded) and received the same message. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
