Galaxy Tab A SD card issues

I have a galaxy Tab A and have jailbroken it to allow the transfer of apps/data to the sd card. I am successful in moving items from the device to sd card but those items (primarily data) move straight back to the device chewing up valuable space.

Any help would be great

one it's not called jailbreaking on Android. Secondly if it is rooted what app are you using to move things. I use both link2sd and App2sd both work perfectly. you will need to create a secondary partion to store the data. Also both cost money for the full versions.

Ok I was able to set up a secondary partition (ext2) with about 1 gb of the 29gb card I am using, the remaining is on FAT32. I am using the paid version of the link2sd app. but still getting the same issue. I am using gallery lock to hide some pictures. I am able to move the app and when I use the app to pull pictures from the sd card and hide them they store the app data on the device storage rather than the sd card.

I also noticed after now when I pull the sd card from the device and place in my computer to transfer data it says I need to format the card.

Thanks for helping

how did you partition it? also you tablet might have you sdcard set as internal storage which means outside of the tablet it can't be read.
