Help Galaxy Tab S 10.5 questions

I was just told by support that I can not set my tablet up to HDMI from the MicroUSB. Anybody try this yet?

the reason I ask is because of another answer on SD cards from support was not answered to my understanding.

That question is what is the max size of MicroSD card does this tablet support? The description on the web says up to 128GB but the manual says 64GB. I bought the 128GB and it does not work in my tablet but does work in my sons Tab 4 tablet. Support told me first it is 64GB then after 5 minutes changed that to 128GB and any manufacture brand?

Any info from anybody that knows?

Thank you

As a Samsung support rep myself, I don't see any reason why your tablet wouldn't connect to HDMI. We actually sell an adapter specifically for the Tab series for this purpose. Did they give you any specific reason it won't or just say it won't?

As far as the SD card I show it should take up to a 128 GB card between class 6 and class 10.

If you can give me the exact model number I can get a little more information.

Oh thank you so much for getting back with me this fast, was not expecting it. The girl just told me that some tablets will not work with the hdmi cable adpater.. I did see that one that samsung sells and was asking support because I have heard some others say it did not work and I did not want to spend money on it if not.
My model number in SM-T800

Just did a little more digging and did find it's not listed as a compatible device on any of the sources I could find. Our internal information isn't super cohesive so it might still work, just can't guarantee anything.

As for the SD card, every source I can find says your tablet should support a 128 GB card no problem.

Thank you for looking into this for me.. No sense in buying the adapter if it might not work. I am getting use to watching on this tablet size.

No problem. One thing you can look into is streaming with Miracast. Android natively supports Miracast as of 4.2 so as long as you have a solid Wi-Fi connection a Miracast enabled dongle/adapter would let you stream wirelessly.
