Hello
I'm interested in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2/S3 and the Huawei MediaPad M2. I'm especially interested in getting the pressure which the user used for the interaction (touch or stylus).
The MediaPad M2 and Galaxy Tab S3 both have a stylus. Is it possible to read out the pressure applied to the stylus for both devices?
Second, the Android API provides the ability to get the touch pressure via the getPressure() method. I think this measure is a derived quantity from the area of the fingerprint. I have read that for some devices this method does not return meaningful values. Does somebody know if for the Galaxy Tab S2/S3 and the Huawei MediaPad M2 this measure works? And if so, for which device is it the most accurate?
