Galaxy Y USB wont show

[Android Question]

My Galaxy Y use to work well with my PC using a USB Cable but after a hic-up with Samsung Kies I accidently switch off my USB Android Mass Storage on my phone but can't get it to switch on. How do I do this? I did switch off the phone then back on again and it work yesterday but today I have plugged it in and again its not recognised. The USB charges the phone but the Samsung Kies is not connecting again.
