Gallery apps?

Are there any gallery apps for the 10 that anyone would suggest? It uses Picasa, but was hoping for some other option due to not being very impressed with it.

Well, it uses Google Photos which was built off of Picasa when that was shut down. Not even close to the same thing.

That said, I sideloaded the HTC Gallery app immediately.

I still love QuickPic Gallery even though Cheetah Mobile acquired it from the original developer. Cheetah Mobile is a sketchy Chinese company that has managed to let us say "Pique" the anger of many a long time Android user by some of their questionable practices. That doesn't mean this app is bad though.

Sorry - Sideloaded? Is this an app?

You can download the apk of a given app (from a reputable source) and install it without using the playstore (sideload). I installed HTC Gallery day 1 with this phone.

Wow - sounds great... unfortunately I have no idea how to do that, lol!

You need to have 'allow unknown installations' option turned on in Settings>Security. Just turn it back off after installoing this.
