Help Gallery not Connected to Camera App?

Hi Everyone and thanks ahead of time for reading.

My boyfriend and I both purchased this phone. So far I like it. He is kind of on the fence coming from BlackBerry.

There is an issue with his phone that doesn't occur on mine. When I tale a picture and preview it, I can edit, delete, scan additional photos in the Camera folder. He cannot; he can preview the picture, but cannot edit, delete or scan from Camera app to Gallery app. His pictures are transferring to the Gallery, though.

Any reason for this? I've been hunting for an hour and cannot figure it out.

The screen shots you posted appear to be like you opened the camera app from the texting app. If that is the case than, you won't have an option to edit. Also if you entered into the camera app from the lock screen the same thing happens if I'm not mistaken.

Funny you mention he's coming from BlackBerry. My previous phone was the Passport which I still have and flip back and forth between the two. Lol

Thank you sooooooo much! You saved us. Lol. I have no idea how that particular app wound up on his home screen, but it did. I deleted it and resaved from the Apps screen.

That's exactly what he's still doing, too. Flipping back between the two.
