Gallery not opening

So I can get gallery to open and I can look at my timeline of pictures but if I tap on 'All' where all of my folders are, gallery just crashes and I was away having issues with my gallery before but this seems to be only issue that persists. Help please.

Go to settings, apps, gallery, chose clear cache and reboot

Didn't seem to fix the problem, so I may have to clear the data.

Yeah I cleared the app data from gallery and I can now access my folders. I didn't have to reboot or reupload them from my back up folders. Everything was just how I left it.
