Gallery not working correctly

Lately, images that I save from the net are no longer showing up in my gallery (even though they are on the device) unless I save them a second time. Any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

Will need more info since we can’t see it over the internet.

What’s yoru carrier
Are you rooted
Do you have oreo update
Is your phone locked or unlocked?

What “gallery” app are you using? If stock app, can you atempt to use another app?

What you say “lately” what does this mean actually? Did you install or uninstall something around the time this issue occurred?

So if you take a photo from the phone camera, you can see it in the gallery, but if you downalod any photo from any website, you cant find it unless you re download it?

What browser are you using? Have you tried different browsers?

When you tap to dlownalod thre photo, you should get a popup that states you can “open” the file. Do you get this?

Thanks for the help. After looking at your posting, as a lark, I decided to try another browser (Firefox) as compared to my default Dolphin. While performing the same actions when using Firefox, the default gallery showed the saved downloaded pics every time. I tried it about 10 times, so it appears that it might be an issue with Dolphin. When using Dolphin, success rate was about 50% or less.
