Gallery pictures are gone

After installing ICS, all the pictures in my gallery library went bye-bye except 3 or 4. Anyone else encounter this? Important stuff I had backed up, but I'm still not happy that they vanished. Thanks in advance. Art

Had the same thing happen to me. I clicked on "My library" instead of "Camera roll" and then the pictures showed up.

"My Library" is where the pictures disappeared from. Under the camera roll I have nothing at all. Thanks for the reply though.
