Gallery transfer

If all else fails, is there at least a way to transfer the gallery or pictures from it from a compromised S5 to a laptop? If there is, how would I do that? Are there any special tools required? Also, how can I transfer pictures I posted on AF to a laptop?

Login to AF on the laptop and go to your profile page and find your post history, save the photos from that using your browser

Ok, that sort of works. I screenshotted two of them, which both failed and I had to redo them. It's kind of slow, but whatever. How do I save the gallery off the S5, though, assuming I can't do anything else with the phone? I still don't get why it went bonkers. However, I did notice that those last photos I posted were just listed instead of shown unless they are clicked on, except for one. Also, it wouldn't let me upload them the regular way. Instead, I had to post just the words and then use edit to add them. Maybe that was a sign of the S5's going south?

Backup photos into Google Drive with your Google account then login on another device with your Google account and go to Google Drive and upload it from there.

I want to back up photos from the pc. According to google I have to download this backup and sync thing. I sure tried, but the download keeps failing and retrying. I have no idea how to fix that. Do I have to change something in settings? Maybe the pc just can't handle it.
