I'm trying to find a program that gets my 360 or ps3 controller to work with my phone without rooting.
 
This is very cool!!

Im even considering rooting my phone just to get one! which i havent done yet because im quite a fan of HTC Sense

Has anyone else tried using it yet with the one x?
I'd like to know how well it works on other games before getting it.

There are some games the Sixaxis doesn't work with. So far Samurai Vengeance doesn't work, nor does ME Infiltrator. However, Riptide, Sonic 4 Ep1, Sonic CD, GTA, Max Payne, ShadowGun & Dead Trigger do though. Soulcraft does too from memory.

BTW, you can just root, you won't lose Sense. There's also a ton of Sense ROMs out there.
 
ah ok that i did not know, shows how little i've actually looked into rooting,

If it works with dead trigger and shadow gun then im pretty certain that ill be getting one. ive already seen on the video that it works with GTA 3

The only question left then would be wether it works with a PSOne emulator cause im thinking of getting that to play FF7 on
 
This arrived yesterday morning and I'm loving it. It's like having a proper portable game console. :)

My only criticism would be that the clip covers the headphone jack.

I'll write up a bit more when I get home and put up some pics up too.
 
Is it possible to get to the USB slot still??

The website gives the impression that if you can connect it with a USB cable that you dont need to have your phone rooted.
 
You can still get to the USB Slot, aye. You'd need root for the One X for wired though as the standard kernel doesn't have USB OTG support I believe.
