Games On HTC Wildfire S

Hey,

I wanna buy a HTC Wildfire S, and the only games I really wanna play on it are Zenonia 1 and 2 and Illusia. Anyone who has any experience with these on a Wildfire S? Maybe some video material so I can see how it runs? I saw a vid where Angry Birds Rio played pretty smooth.

Or should I get a Samsung Galaxy S and why?

if you have a choice then get the galaxy s....the wildfire was always meant to be a middle of the road phone...here is a comparison

I actually like the whole Sense UI better than the Samsung phones. I'm also wondering if Zenonia etc. play pretty well with the new 2.3 Gingerbread.

So, unless the games are playable on a Wildfire, I really don't feel like getting a Samsung.

I can't tell you if Zenoia or Illusia are playable on a Wildfire, but what I can tell you is that Wildfire is a pain from a developers perspective. Wildfires don't have a GPU(graphical processing unit). The CPU is also very slow. This makes it tough to create a game that doesn't lag or run choppy on a Wildfire.

Yes just get the Galaxy and use Launcher Pro or ADW either is better than Sense or the Samsung stock one.

I tested the Zenonia 2 demo on a friend's Galaxy S, and it played pretty smooth, so I'm ordering a Galaxy S soon.

Good choice mate. Add some custom roms from XDA and OC it and that thing is a beast!
