Gas Log - The Fantastically Simple Way to Track Your Fill-ups

Hi guys, I released Gas Log about a month ago and figured it's about time I get the word out there. It's the fantastically simple way to track your car's fill-ups.

Gas Log is simple by design and features a completely customized UI. There are similar apps on the Android Market that do much more, but Gas Log separates itself by doing a few things really well and not overwhelming the user with a noisy array of bells, whistles, and mostly ignored statistics. It’s apparent in the little details, like the custom numeric keypad that makes entering a new fill-up fast.

Or a beautiful graph that appears when you rotate your phone, showing you only the information you really care about.

Gas Log is out now and is currently free (ad-supported). An ad-free paid version will be out soon, and will include useful additions like easy backups of your data.

Search the Android Market for “Gas Log” or scan the handy QR code below.

JiMMaR, glad you like it. Hope you find it useful

Just an update, I've made some minor changes and uploaded the update to the Android Market.

Based on user feedback, the "average total cost" statistic in the rotated graph view now shows the average price per gallon. Moreover, a dotted line representing the average price per gallon is now plotted on the graph.

Looks perfect for my needs. I'll try it out.

I'd love to be able to do more than one vehicle and it would be awesome if there were a way to sync between 2 phones. I'm not the one who always does my vehicle and I sometimes fill up my husband's.

Another thing if it's possible...

I'd like to see the price and gallons go the thousandth place.

Ex: $2.399 and 14.345 gallons. That's how it's figured where I live...

Kataclysmic, thanks for the suggestions. I think sync would be a great feature to have, but it may be a few months before I'm able to implement something like that. I'd like to first focus on simple data export so that you guys can backup your entries.

it would be cool to see and average mpg chart, like scroll down and see what mpg you got on what day like the average dpg
