Gas tests/form filling

Hi I'm a Gas engineer and I'm looking for an app based form filling tool.
Android market has a few apps aimed at Gas engineers, I've tried all of them but they don't work for me. What I want is basically an electronic pad to fill in a form/template to reduce repeatedly filling in name details etc.
All the apps I've found have a strict work flow then produce a certificate that you email or print and often produce an invoice.
I just want a blank form that can be filled in freely with drop down lists etc then saved and printed from a folder a 100+ at a time.
I just want to improve a pad and pen not navigate endless screens in a set order, simplicity is the key.
Any ideas appreciated

Spreadsheets can be written with macros that will move you from field to field as you enter the info.

Or, just write the spreadsheet in a linear fashion for the data entry, and then have the "print area" written in the exact Format you want to use to show a customer. The cells in the Print Area "look at" and calculate info based on the 1st set of entries.
