Gear s3 frontier disconnects from s9 plus

So this has happened numerous times over the past few days. I have a brand new Gear 3 frontier LTE with the S9 plus. I seems to be randomly disconnecting from the phone. I will notice I get text and no notifications and I check the app and the watch is disconnected what causes this? I'm getting frustrated here
