Hi Folks,
I have a rooted Android Alps/Haipai i9377 (yep a samsung S3-alike
)
I've had it a while but it's only just been rooted and I know next to nothing about the process, except the concept of root is familiar to me as I run Linux on my desktop and laptops.
Are there any good tutorials out there you could point me to as a starter? I'd like if possible, to remove some of the native apps I'll never use like google maps, google voice, local? whatever that is, latitude, 'google', talk and anything else that springs to mind ! How feasible is this?
I know there are a number of utilities available to my linux mint 16 install that people use, I just don't know what they are, so any fellow linux users feel free to chip in.
Apologies if this has been done to death as a question, point me in the right direction and I'll leave you in peace
