Just thought this subforum could use a Q&A thread as there are many small threads with just one question which is answered simlpy.

I'll start.

I have updated to 4.1.2. However when I plug in my headphones my phone creates another Homescreen which is like a media centre screen, which is nice I guess except for the fact that I use none of the stock media apps, so its worthless to me.

So is there away to either:
1. Turn this feature off, so nothing special happens when I plug in the headphones in?
2. Or is there away to customize this media screen with the apps I actually use?

We had a general QA thread. It was a sticky for quite some time but it didn't make sense after a while.

It is easier to find an answer to an already asked question using search if it is a thread in it's own right.

What you have come across is "page buddy"

To disable: Settings > display > page buddy.

Ah thanks guys, quick efficient answers, funny thing is that I saw that setting and thought it looked cool, didn't know if was going to do that though.
