Hi there
I can see there are many posts about issues with duplicated contacts that filter into the generic SMS app...Just trying to look for a solid answer really!
In people, all I have selected is "only contacts with numbers" and MyPhoneBook (which is a T-Mobile thing I believe) and I still get duplicated contacts when I try and write a new message! It's highly frustrating!
I made sure I unticked facebook contacts, gmail contacts etc...and even deleted the FB HTC account thing and in Accounts and Sync in settings, I have de-selected the sync contacts option on my email also. Since doing so, my messages are not recognising some of the phone numbers in my phonebook and I haven't the foggiest why!
I am brand new to Android and the whole thing's a bit of a learning curve, please could someone tell me what I am doing wrong?!
Thanks
Dee
