Apps Gestureoverlay disables preview

Hi,

I am trying to get a gesture overlay to operate the camera app that i'm working on. Only problem is that when i am using the gesutre overlay the preview disappears.

Gestureoverlay should be transparant...

Anyone knows how to fix this?
