Get 4G data on Korean Note 4 (SM-N910S) in the UK

Hi

So I bought the Note 4 (SM-N910S) and it appears that I can't get 4g data as I am here in the UK.

Is there any way I can download anything that would enable 4G?

In the UK they sell the SM-N910F version which does allow 4g.

As you may tell I am not an expert so if someone who knows can give me some direction that would be great!

Hi,

Welcome to the forum

I just checked on this website and it seems like you may have a chance to get 4G in the UK, but it will all depend on which carrier you use and (probably) where exactly you are. You can click about yourself and see if changing carriers would work out better for you.

One other thing: If your carrier is listed as supported, then you should give them a quick call. It may be the case that they need to send you some configuration messages before your phone can use a specific band. Also, your tariff may not support 4G.

It probably won't get 4G with Vodafone, etc, because don't use the same 4G bands in Korea.
