Get droid X or wait???

I like everything about the Droid X and the big screen. It does everything I like plus more. I can upgrade to get it, but people were saying that motorola is going to come out later with a phone that has 2gb processor and a front facing camera. Should I wait for that or just by the droid? If I buy the droid I will be stuck with it for 2 years so I am not sure what to do. Hope someone can help me with my decision.

If you wait for a better phone you'll end up waiting forever

look what happened to me , i've been phoneless since 1 year , i thought of Omnia II , when i was about to buy it came out n900 , then nexus one , then samsung wave , then htc desire , then samsung galaxy s , then i saw that n9 today , then saw the LG panther today

buy what you have dude , unfortunately when the phone is announced you'll have to wait around 4 months till it's out , you won't have the phone forever ... buy it now .. change it after a year or 2

I thought Verizon let you upgrade after a year, it was just a little more? (like $50.00 more)

I understand how you feel! I really want the it, but I've heard rumors about some better phones coming out around the holidays. I don't know if I would be better off getting the X or waiting to see what my other options will be. And then there's the little issue's I'm having with my BB...

Thanks that help me make my decision. There is no word on the 2gb phone they were talking about. I was thinking if I should wait for that since the phone I have works fine or go with what I could be perfectly happy with!

Not sure about that at all. I only know that they let the main line upgrade after every year!

Also does anyone know of any phones to look out for that will be around the holiday season?
