Get FB out of my contacts!

[Android Question]

After the recent system update, some of my FB friends are showing up in my contacts.
I have an HTC one SV. I DO NOT have the facebook app. I do not now nor have I ever synced
anything to anything.
In searching this issue, the answers people have posted around the web are always
something along the lines of saying to do some simple step in the menu, like
manage contacts, etc.
Those things do not work...there is no option to show or not show these people.
There must be SOMEONE who knows what I'm talking about.
Please help.

Hi, and welcome.

It appears that the HTC One has a built-in Facebook for Sense app, and somehow you have given it permission (or it had it default to on).

I am not entirely sure how to fix it, but I would ask HERE.
