Get Itunes Podcasts onto Android Phone?

Is it possible to continue downloading and managing podcasts in Itunes on my Windows PC but somehow sync or send those downloaded files to my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy Y)?

I see in the Kies software that came with the phone I can see all the podcasts I am subscribed to in Itunes but it doesn't seem to give me access to the files of the podcasts I've downloaded.

I don't mind installed another piece of software on the PC/Phone but I like to be able to still use Itunes as the main podcast manager.

Any ideas on how this can be done?

Thanks.

iTunes puts the MP3 or M4A files in folders under My Music on a windows PC. You can just drag and drop them to your phone.

In Windows Explorer (Windows key and 'E'), go to the My Music\iTunes folder then search for *.mp3 (some things may also need you to search for *.m4a). This will list all of your iTunes music and podcasts.

Connect the phone via USB and drag and drop the files to your phone - I usually put the files in the appropriate Podcasts or Music folders on my phone.

Thanks, I was hoping there was a way to keep track of the files I've listened to on the phone or something like that, but this can work too.

Thanks.

I just delete the podcasts from my phone as soon as I've finish playing them :)

You just need to press and hold and the context menu will give you a Delete option.

Personally I switched from using my PC to download podcasts and sync to my phone to just using PocketCasts and just manage my podcasts on the phone or other mobile devices.

You could use Bitorrent Sync to copy your podcast library on to the phone. Then when you delete the podcast it will be removed from your computer automatically (although I don't know what that would do to the entry in iTunes, so you might need to delete them from iTunes).

I am surprised that no one mentioned DoubleTwist to you. It has long been the recommended solution to this problem. There is also something called "iTunes to android Sync tunes". Honestly, searching the Play store for "itunes podcast sync android" is probably going to reveal all the possible solutions available.

Thanks will take a look at those.

So does Pocket Casts connect to the itunes podcast 'library'?

I just upgraded to the Pro version of Poweramp but maybe I should've gone with double twist.
