Get large videos off Hero

I have taken a few videos on my phone and would like to upload them to share with people. I get an error message when trying to send to Youtube, Gmail or text msg that the file is too large. Any ideas (maybe through a downloadable app??) for how to get these off my phone and onto a computer?

Plug the USB cable into the PC and enable disk mode. Then it will work like a flash drive. Go into the DCIM folder and there will be the videos inside one of the sub-folders.
