get rid of "Ever note"

[Android Question]

I am a businessman that needs my laptop and phone to work together, that is why I use Android.
In the last "update" 11 August 2013 my notes which synced with Outlook was hijacked and now has become "Ever notes" - Why??

How do I get rid of "Ever notes"

before this "update" I synced to my outlook using a USB cable and everything worked perfectly including contacts callander and notes. Now the notes \ settings\ have a bar on the auto-sync which can not be undone. This option has been greyed out. Apparently I am expected to open an Evernotes account!!!! WHY?? I DO NOT WANT AN EVER NOTES ACCOUNT what I want is a simple sync with all my Windows 7 Office 2013 so that my laptop and phone is the same with Outlook, contacts and notes - which is what I had untill this latest "upgrade"!

This unthinking attitude towards customers is what I expect from Microsoft not Android, or is this an indication of things to come ?

Hi, and welcome.

I believe that the problem is with Outlook, who added the Evernote plug-in. You should be able to remove or disable it in your Outlook settings. If not, contact Microsoft Help and I am sure they can guide you.
