Get the HTC One X or wait for the +

OK so I've been using a Galaxy S3 for about a month now and have just about had it up to my eyeballs with the Battery, ranging from just random drains to a severe standby bug that has me hitting my pillow with the battery at 100% to only wake up to it being on 40%...lol...Crazy!!!

Either way I'm leaning towards just going with something else and I was leaning towards the at&t One X. But there has recently been some Noise about a Newer One X+ being released in the very near future...

What do you guys think...Drop $99 and use an upgrade or wait for the +?

I had a similar problem with the one x. I went to sleep at 100% but woke up at 50%. I loved the one x though except for the battery. I had 2 both were unacceptable in that regard. I am waiting for the one x+ hopefully AT&T will get it otherwise I'm going iPhone 5.

I'd factory reset the GS III (If you haven't already) and wait for the One X + or next Nexus.

Tried that...no dice! Well I may just spend the $99, keep the GS3 for right now, and then just sell the both of them when something really awesome drops.

I think the One X+ is just a carrier variant for T-Mobile for the US, so I'm not sure how widespread it will be? I'm UK so not familiar with your carrier system.

Seen some noise about this as well - which varies from a slight spec bump to everything from removable battery and SD card slot! Not really sure what to believe, but I would be surprised if it is vastly different to the current One X.

From what I've heard its definitely going to be in UK in late september/early october. In the US, one report said that it would be coming to T-Mobile and AT&T, but most of the news has said it's probably only coming to T-Mobile.

As for specs I've heard Tegra 3+ 1.7ghz processor with maybe 2GB of RAM. I sort of doubt it's going to have a removable battery or SD card slot considering it's supposed to be the exact same exterior as the One X (i.e. cases intechangeable).

Can you currently get a Tegra 3 One X in the US? If not then I suspect it will just be a release there, why would they release a phone here that is only marginally more powerful than the one we already have.

Sean my wife is having the same problem with her GS3 regarding the battery drop, it has only just started so I'm guessing it's a rogue app, gonna reset it and see what that does.. if like yours it doesn't work then she's getting rid and getting the white version of my phone which to me is slowly but surely becoming the superior phone.

Seems like they put the One X+ out just to one up the Galaxy III.
