Get the phone to vibrate for calls in Priority Mode

Howdoo folks and thanks in advance if anyone can help me with this one as
despite much searching, I can't seem to find a solution to my specific issue.

Phone Xperia Z3 compact
Android 6.0.1

All I want to do is: Have my phone on vibrate only for calls, texts and suchlike, but make sure I can hear alarms AND calendar reminders/events - or whatever android refer to theme as.

So far I have established that if I set up the 'Do Not Disturb' thing in 'Priority Mode', with 'Reminders' and 'Events' checked, it will make a noise when such things trigger it.
However, it also turns off the vibrate for incoming calls and text messages, which is no good to me, as I want to be made aware of these when the phone's in my pocket.

If (as has been suggested on other websites) I set the volume control to vibrate by either pressing the bell icon when using the rocker switch or winding the rocker switch right down until you get the vibrate icon, it does enable vibrate for calls/texts, BUT, it mutes 'Reminders and Events' again!

This doing my fruit in and I can't seem to find a work around.

Anybody...

Cheers
G
