Getting an Android account back?

I hope this is the right place to ask this but has anyone got any information on getting an Android account back? My husband is an Android developer who has lost his account unfairly. My husband has worked far too hard and has spent years on Android and then to just lose everything! He is really in a mess and we are really feeling the pinch. It is just not fair that we should suffer, my husband is a good man and has worked far too hard. Any help would be appreciated.

This page includes a button to file an appeal against termination of a developer account, which is what I assume has happened here. I cannot give you any specific advice on this, beyond what it says there, since I'm not an android app developer and have no experience of such procedures.

Google say on that page that the only ground for appeal is that they made a mistake and that your apps do comply with the Play Store policies after all, and it's pretty clear that Google will judge whether Google made a mistake (I assume different people though!).

You say he lost his account unfairly: did they say why they were doing this?

Unfortunately, Google tends to be rather Draconian about play store account violations and actions. We've had a few of our staff/dev's have apps pulled with little or no explanation and only the recourse of guessing the violation and republishing.

I don't know how far you will get with complaints. :( I will say that it might be worth it to keep trying different avenues until you find a sympathetic ear within the organization. And, while it is frustrating and at time infuriating, it always pays to be polite and reasonable.

Good luck and keep us posted.

I think this is an area that is Google's largest weakness. I can't say that I'm optimistic that your husband will get his account back, let alone even hear back from a human at Google.
