Getting Rid of Pre-Installed Apps

is there anyway to do this? I hav no us for a couple of the pre-installed apps and would really like to get rid of them to free up space...
 
You can if your phone is rooted. Some home replacement programs like PandaHome allow you to hide the icons of those apps but they remain installed.
