Getting SMS' onto my PC from a Samsung GT15800 phone

Hi,
I urgently need to backup my phones SMS's to my computer. It's a Samsung GT15800 and I've downloaded Wondershare but I just can't get th phone to conect to it (either by USB or wifi). I've tried on two differnt PC's but the problem remains. I'm just going round in circles. Anybody have any experience with Wondershare or maybe I should be looking at different software.

Any advice would be welcome.

Samsung's official backup utility is Kies for Windows/Mac.

sms backup and restore will backup all your messages and email the file or upload it to dropbox automatically if you set up up to. Otherwise it just saves the file to the SD card which you can put into your PC.
