I have a few questions about my optimus v

often throughout the day randomly my phone restarts often when i'm texting, with good signal is this common for all optimus v's

Random reboots often are caused for different reasons on different devices.

The LG Optimus V - Android Forums area is full of members and a Guide or two who will be more than willing to give you assistance with that device. :)
 
Hello and welcome aboard. I was having the same problem with my device - I uninstall all the apps that I'm not using and I haven't had any reboot thus far. Sometimes an application just might be the caused of our device issues.
