Help gf s3 stock has more ram than my rooted and modded zte

Hey all. So my phone is a zte max also known as iconic or n9520 with 1gb ram and gf galaxy s3 has 1gb of ram too. I am rooted with a partitioned sd running greenify, etc etc. Bloatware has been deleted. Im on 4.1.2 and the galaxy is on kitkitkat. She constantly has over 500 mb of ram available with everything running in apps manager. I after my mods am only able to free up 350 mb of ram. Again im running the donated version of greenify and when checking my running apps everything seems good but its almost half of what her galaxy has free. If i rooted her phone and ran the donated version of greenify i could probably have 600-700 mb of available ram. To add bone stock my phone only had about 225 mb available ram. So what am i missing. Is the galaxy s3 just that much better at managing ram.

Thanks in advance
Josh

Don't worry about RAM usage. You are not dealing with Windows. In the world of Android/Linux unused RAM is - correctly - considered wasted RAM. Normally, RAM usage should be about 70-75% of capacity, maybe a little more though not 100%. If you have more than that available, say 60-70% empty, the OS will try to use more of it. That's correct operation.

So, actually her stock S3 is not using RAM more efficiently than your modded ZTE. The ZTE is operating correctly. IOW, you should be asking yourself, if her S3 is only using 50% of available RAM, why is it not better utilizing available resources?
