I'm sure it will come out on the incredible at some point. Keep in mind not even Froyo has been officially released yet. The incredible will in all likelyhood, be running that sometime shortly after it's official release. Shortly after doesn't mean a day or a week, but it means without a real significant delay. It's Verizon's new flagship phone. The droid got 2.1 "relatively" after the nexus one did.
That being said, Gingerbread is in the distant future.
