I want to catch the culprit who started this craze. Glossy screens on everything. TV screens, laptops, phones. My laptop has a glossy screen and it is impossible to read on a sunny day. Sure, it looks shiny but it's not at all useful - in fact, the opposite. A screens purpose is to be bright and clear so I can see it. The glossy layer on top prevents me from reading it in many situations. The difference in cost to manufacture glossy screens and matt screens is negligible.
I say that we start a campaign against glossy screens. We don't want them, we never did. Even though they do look shiny at first, we KNOW that they're a design flaw. Come on guys, lets do it!
