GMail and Email

Hi,

Is there a way to use different email notification icons in the HTC Magic notification bar? I am tired of the stupid "@" sign when I receive a new email in Gmail...

I don't think it is possible to change them Unless you ROOT your phone and then do something with it {Sorry but I don't know what to do now}

Has anyone else got a suggestion or advice?
