Help Gmail app alerts whenever I get a new email...how to stop?

How do I turn off the annoying audio notification whenever I get a new email? I don't want to mute all notifications because I still want to know when I get a text.

I don't see anything in the Gmail options. I'm using the default Gmail app with Razr Maxx.

Glad you figured it out.... but posting would have helped.

IIRC it's under settings, account, then you have to actually click on your account and options from there. Not the most intuitive.
