Gmail App Email Forwarding. HELP!

I have two email accounts. One I use professionally, as my dad hosts the website which it's linked to. One is a gmail account with a sillier name... let's just say that it has the word "douchebaggy" in it. I have it set up so that all email to my serious email account get forwarded into my gmail.

However, I don't get them in the Gmail app. I opened the app and only have email sent directly to my silly email. This is an issue, because I need to see the emails from my other account too. When I opened up the browser and went to Gmail through there, I was able to see emails from both accounts, but not in the app.

Any suggestions?

This is rather unusual. I am able to see emails forwarded to Gmail in both my Gmail app and via the Gmail web site. Both the app and web site should show the same thing.

Perhaps you can try to delete the settings in your Gmail app and then start again and recreate it.

On my phone (Desire Z), I have both a Mail app and a Gmail app. I only use the Gmail app. If you also have a Mail app, try using that app to see if emails to both accounts show up there.

I do the same thing. I have a gmail account, and MyName.org account that I forward to my gmail account. I am able to access all of the mail in my Gmail account (forwarded or not) from the Gmail app on my Android 2.2 phone. I am also able to access it from the regular mail app on my Android 2.2 phone. (It worked on Android 2.1 also.)

Are you saing that if you go into your Gmail account from a web-interface (on a PC) you can see the mail from your company-name email account (that have been forwarded to GMail) and your silly-name Gmail account (which were sent directly to GMail), but when you try to access that same Gmail account from your phone's Gmail app, it only sees mail sent directly to your GMail account? That makes no sense. I don't think that there's any way for your phone's gmail app to differentiate a forwarded mail from a directly-sent mail.
