Gmail App & Mailto's

I am having trouble getting a mailto to create an e-mail correctly in Gmail. When I try to scan a QR code in ShopSavvy I get a new blank e-mail. A mailto link (in xScope) will only bring in one recipient and the subject line (no body text, cc's, etc).
Do I need to change a setting?
Is this a problem with GMail? If so, is there another e-mail program that works better? Pushing messages to my phone from my GMail account is a must.

I have g mail and yahoo e mail. I actually e mailed the designers of shop savvy today about an unrelated issue( barcodes on your cars vin #,off ina different subject sorry. I seen a Guy w an I phone scan a vin, told him all about the car. He sent me an e mail back that they sold the rights that to a different. Company). Anyway try yahoo, or barcode scanner.
