Gmail App, or Mail App, that offers a From: drop-down menu

When sending / composing In Gmail on the web,

the From: header has a drop-down menu

allowing the user to select which email address to send from.

On Android's Gmail App, mobile browsers, etc., there's no option to select an alternative email address.

It would be nice if there was an App that allowed access to the From: drop-down menu on my Android handset.

Is this already implemented? I can't find a way to change from field, although I have several aliases configured in my gmail account.

I would really like to have this option, since I have all professional accounts pointing to my personal one.
